Happy December! Holiday season is officially in full swing, and that means your payroll processing schedule may be a bit different over the next few weeks. This month, both Southland Data Processing and the Federal Reserve will be closed in observance of Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1).
Please note that all transfers will be pushed back for check dates on these holidays and direct deposits will also not be live for payrolls with check dates of December 25 or January 1. Additionally, Southland Data Processing will be closing early on Friday, December 7 at 3 PM PST, and our ACH processor will be closing early at 10 AM PST on December 24.
Due to this closure, all payrolls with a check date of December 27 must be submitted before 9:30 AM PST on December 24. As this is a banking restriction, we will not be able to provide any extensions on this day. Be sure to submit any time-sensitive requests for these dates in a timely manner to ensure successful processing.
December Holiday Payroll Reminders:
- SDP will be closing early at 3 PM PST on December 7.
- If your check date is December 25 (Federal Reserve Closed), you will need to move your check date to either Monday, December 24 or Wednesday, December 26.
- If your check date is December 27, you will need to process by 9:30 AM PST on December 24. Due to banking restrictions, we will not be able to provide extensions on this day.
- If your check date is Tuesday, January 1 (Federal Reserve Closed), you will need to move your check date to either Monday, December 31 or Wednesday, January 2.
