On Thursday, November 11th, we will celebrate Veterans’ Day in honor of all the brave men and women who have served this country to protect our freedom. As we prepare to thank and remember these heroes, Southland Data Processing would like to remind you that since Veterans’ Day is also a banking holiday, you may need to do some additional payroll prep next week.
Although Southland Data Processing will be open, transfers will be pushed back a day for check dates on or after the holiday. Direct deposits will also not be live for payrolls with check dates on Veterans’ Day due to the banking holiday.
Due to the banking holiday, for your employees to receive their pay by Veterans’ Day (Nov. 11), you should:
- Change your check date to Wednesday, November 10th
- Send your payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Monday, November 8th
Other affected check dates that will need to submit early:
- Checks dated Friday, November 12th – send payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Tuesday, November 9th
- Checks dated Monday, November 15th – send payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Wednesday, November 10th
We recommend you always check the Transfers section on your Payroll Summary report, which has the exact transfer amounts and dates.
