Similar to fairy tales, our story starts a long time ago when SDP was just a dream that was built from the heart of a wonderful couple, Peter and Elizabeth Carroll. The Carroll’s entrepreneurial spirit fueled the fire to build an organization that grew based on trust and relationships. SDP has grown mostly by word of mouth and the “tell a friend” motto. In 2008, a board of directors became an active part of SDP’s organization. The Board consist of active members of the community who also run their own businesses. The SDP board provides insight and guidance to the management team. From our founders and the board of director’s servant leadership model, we strive to build on the relationships we have built over the years and create new ones. The solutions we provide become the thread that connects our people to the people and the organizations we partner with.

Empowering Hope House to serve their clients
Hope House residential services exist to improve the lives of children and adults with special needs by providing a therapeutic living environment emphasizing learning and encouraging individual development, growth and socialization. In a world where being different used to mean isolation from society, we advocate for our residents to have a life full of personal, meaningful choices.
Since 1994 Southland Data Processing has been providing Hope House with solutions to help manage payroll and human resource compliance. “With a mission to improve the lives of children and adults with special needs we don’t have time to worry about payroll and tax filings being processed properly. With SDP, I never had a reason to worry. In our industry its crucial to be able to develop special reports and SDP can give us whatever we need.”
Recently we implemented a timekeeping and scheduling program from SDP that allowed us to improve budgeting and monitoring of payroll and has been a vast improvement in the flow of information.
