Hope

A Season of Hope

Hopeby Renita J. Wojtuszewski – President, CEO & “Head Cheerleader”

Since early childhood, faith has always been a huge part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I have been a very responsible person. So much so that my family never really had to worry about me. I have been taking care of myself financially since I got my first job at the age of fifteen and a half. I never felt alone growing up because I had faith that God was always looking out for me. He surrounded me with the people that I needed to give me support and guidance during whatever season I was in life. Knowing that God had a plan for me, even if I didn’t know what it was, always made me feel hopeful.

Hope is the word that resonates in my mind during this time of year. Hope that the new year will bring a renewed strength to tackle the challenges that may come. Hope that trials and challenges of this past year will help me and others in making better decisions for the future. Hope that I am a better human today than I was last year. Hope for more human kindness, grace, and understanding will be shared with each other.

For me and my family, the season of advent is the season of hope because the birth of Christ is a symbol of Hope. Hope and faith for something better after we’ve lived our best life on earth.

As we head towards the end of 2022 and into 2023, my prayer for all of us is to experience the hope, peace, and love of this season. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. May the holiday you celebrate this season be surrounded by moments of joy, laughter, and warmth that fill your heart and home.

Cheers to a healthy, bright and successful 2023!
