On Monday, February 19, 2024 we will celebrate President’s Day. This federal holiday celebrates the birthdays of both President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln as well as other United States presidents, past and present. President’s Day is also a banking holiday. You may need to do some additional payroll preparations.
Although Southland Data Processing will be open, transfers will be pushed back a day for check dates on or after the holiday. Direct deposits will also not be live for payrolls with check dates on February 19, 2024.
For your employees to receive their pay by February 19th, you should:
- Change your check date to Friday, February 16, 2024
- Send your payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Wednesday, February 14, 2024
Other affected check dates that will need to submit early:
- Monday, February 19th – send payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Thursday, February 15th for employees to be paid Tuesday, February 20th
- Tuesday, February 20th – send payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Thursday, February 15th
- Wednesday, February 21st – send payroll by 2:00 PM PT on Friday, February 16th
